(1) External blending method: This method has lower equipment and technical requirements, simple production process, and was applied earlier.

(2) Internal mixing method: The modified asphalt obtained has good comprehensive performance.

(3) Modification before emulsification method: The equipment requirements are high and it is rarely used.

2. Production method of SBR modified asphalt

(1) This product can be added to cationic emulsion and emulsified with asphalt to produce stable modified cationic emulsified asphalt products.

(2) This product can be added to the finished cationic emulsified asphalt product, stirred and mixed evenly to produce styrene butadiene modified cationic emulsified asphalt product.

(3) Recommended dosage for road modified emulsified asphalt: 3%~5%; The dosage of waterproof modified emulsified asphalt is 10-25%

3. Scope of application of SBR modified asphalt

SBR modified asphalt is widely used in road and bridge construction, especially in areas with large temperature differences. It has excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, strong resistance to rutting, good elasticity and toughness, and can significantly improve the tensile strength of the road surface after encountering water, as well as enhance the anti-skid and bearing capacity of the road surface. In addition, SBR modified asphalt also has good waterproof and anti-corrosion properties, suitable for road construction in various harsh environments. Specially used for the production of fine anti-skid emulsified asphalt, cold mixed and cold laid high viscosity emulsified asphalt, non stick wheel emulsified asphalt, SBS modified emulsified asphalt, and high viscosity modified emulsified asphalt. The production application method is simple, and ordinary emulsification equipment can produce it. Solved the problems of difficult emulsification of hard asphalt and high requirements for production equipment for SBS modified asphalt emulsification.
