The first fully automated unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) highway inspection system in China has officially launched the application of 5G technology in Lushan, Jiangxi, adding a "smart brain" to the road traffic safety of Lushan.
Due to the high terrain of Mount Lu, rainy, snowy, frozen, and foggy weather often affects the traffic of the scenic area. Nowadays, this 5G smart highway is equipped with fog navigation facilities. Vehicles passing through the road will automatically sense and turn on strong light. In addition, in order to cope with key road sections such as snow and ice accumulation in winter, some bridges and bridges are also equipped with "electric blankets" that automatically spray snow melting agents when it snows.
'Steep slopes and sharp bends' are another challenge in traffic management in scenic areas. There are nearly 400 bends on this 100 kilometer mountain road, and each bend is now equipped with warning devices. During driving, text and voice announcements will be used to alert drivers to oncoming traffic or to slow down at sharp bends ahead.
