On November 21, 2024, the 6th Big Data and Highway Intelligent Maintenance Management Technology Forum was grandly opened in Wenzhou, Zhejiang. This conference is jointly organized by the Maintenance and Management Branch of the China Highway Society, China Communications First Highway Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Transportation Development Group Co., Ltd., China Communications Ruitong Road Bridge Maintenance Technology Co., Ltd., and the Ministry of Transport's Highway Green Intelligent Maintenance Technology Company in collaboration with the Innovation Platform.
The forum, with the theme of "Smart Transportation for the Future", aims to promote the high-quality development of highway maintenance, explore new quality productivity to promote the transformation, upgrading, and innovative development of highway maintenance. It consists of three major sections: academic exchange, achievement display, and technical investigation.
As an invited guest, Xinxiang Longteng Highway Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Longteng Road) participated in this conference. More than 500 experts, scholars, and engineering technicians from various levels of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation, Wenzhou Municipal People's Government, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation, as well as transportation investment group companies, design institutes, transportation research institutes, road and bridge construction companies, maintenance companies, supervision units, and related academic groups, colleges and universities, attended the conference together.
The opening ceremony was brightly lit and packed, presided over by Li Yanwu, former director of the Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport and chairman of the Maintenance and Management Branch of the China Highway Society. At the opening ceremony, Chairman Weng Mengyong stated in his speech that China's highway mileage has reached 5.44 million kilometers, and the overall country has entered the era of major maintenance. Traditional highway maintenance methods, due to their low efficiency and slow response speed, are no longer able to meet the development needs of current maintenance management. The rapid development of the new generation of information technology has brought infinite possibilities for the intelligent transformation of highway maintenance.
In the academic exchange session, experts conducted in-depth discussions on multiple topics such as multi-dimensional digital technology and intelligent operation and maintenance optimization of road performance, long-term comprehensive maintenance general contracting and digital maintenance, bridge maintenance and monitoring systems, and big data and intelligent maintenance to assist in the transformation and upgrading of highway operations.
In the achievement display section, several well-known research institutions and corporate brands showcased the latest research achievements and application cases in the field of intelligent highway maintenance management technology. As a one-stop highway maintenance service enterprise, Longteng Road showcased the latest technologies and achievements in the field of environmental protection and energy conservation at the exhibition, attracting the attention of many attendees. The booth was crowded with people, and Guo Zhining, the general manager of Longteng Road, as a senior highway professional who has been deeply involved in the field of highway maintenance for more than 20 years, introduced in detail his independently developed highway chemicals and building materials. Through the exhibition and display, Longteng Road established closer connections with experts, peers, construction units, and other participants, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
